ABOUT WOOD

 I’ve always been deeply drawn to working with wood ever since my grandad made me a drawbridge castle as a young boy. Unfortunately I was unable to pursue a career in woodwork as a young man, but a career as a stonemason presented itself to me which gave me the opportunity to learn new skills and use my hands creatively. The skills I learned here set me in good stead to return to my love of working with wood, after a spinal injury left me unable to work with stone. I now spend my days creating handmade beautiful pieces in my Norfolk countryside workshop.
